dylans journey
This is our little crew. When I say these memories are precious its not just because I'm a photographer, its because I have my own unique perspective on it.
We were blessed with a little girl, Mia and then with or twins, Dylan and Summer.
Our family has faced the biggest challenge life could throw at us this year. In October 2021 our twin boy Dylan, out of the blue became ill. We couldn't believe it when he was diagnosed with cancer at age three. We were devastated by the news, but we focused all the energy we had on getting our little boy better.
Our community held space for us in the most beautiful way and shone a light on us in our time of darkness. We will forever be thankful for all of the love and support we were shown at this time. Dylan had been through months of intensive chemotherapy and radiotherapy treatments in London, and he had been the bravest boy, we are so proud of him. He has come a very long way since his diagnoses and is doing really well now and his team expect him to make a full recovery. We are hopefully getting close to the end of treatment and starting a new, better chapter.
Its difficult to to put into words what a life changing journey we have been on, but the last few months have taught us so much about what really matters in life. Its the time we spend together that is the most precious thing we have.
We are blessed to call this brave little superhero our son.
